These informal one-hour classes are suitable for adults at all levels of interest. Each begins with a focus on a sculpture from ancient Greece, looking carefully at its style and meaning, thinking about the times in which it was made and how it compares to others that came before and after. We then go on a visual journey, exploring how and why the classical era has been so influential throughout art history, including for many Irish and international modern and contemporary artists.
