Workshop: 'Capture the magic and movement of water with cyanotype'

Thursday 25th August, 3-5.30pm

25 euro per person (capacity 10 max), materials supplied, refreshments included

This session will  reveal new and exciting ways to harness cyanotype, a process whereby a light-sensitive solution, used to coat a support (such as paper), reacts to whatever is placed on its surface. These experimental techniques will exploit its reactive property to capture water in different states of flow.

The workshop will include a short introduction and demo, followed by an opportunity (weather permitting) to venture down to the harbour and make your own cyanotypes. The beauty of the medium is that it is relatively easy to achieve impressive results.
